CHOOSE YOUR CCW COURSE CAREFULLY

Our CCW course not only will meet, but will exceed the State requirements for training.

Legal aspects are covered thoroughly, safety is stressed, and training guns are used prior to actual handling of your firearm.

This class is a full 8-hour course as required by the State, with no short-cuts.

The 4 Key Rules of Firearms Safety

Treat all firearms as if they are loaded.  Every gun is considered loaded until YOU ensure it is not.

Maintain “muzzle integrity” – never point a firearm at any person unless you are prepared to shoot that person.  Never allow the muzzle of a gun to be pointed at ANYTHING alive that you don’t intend to shoot, kill or destroy

Keep your finger off the trigger and outside the trigger guard until you have made a conscious decision to shoot.

Be sure of your target, the backstop, what is beyond it.

BASIC FIREARMS TRAINING:

INTRO to FIREARMS and
FIREARMS SAFETY

Learn the basics of handling firearms - semi-auto pistol, revolver or shotgun.  Class will cover safety, both in the home and on the firing range. Classes are arranged on an as-needed basis for individuals or groups.

Gov. DeWine has signed Constitutional Carry into law; however, it will not take effect until the middle of June.
 
As our CCW class focuses on the laws of concealed carry, it is still a good idea to take the class. We cover the details of when and where you can carry your weapon, when it is legal to use it, and those places where you still can not carry.
 
Furthermore, if you intend to carry across state lines into a state that does not recognize Constitutional Carry but does have reciprocity, you still will need a CCW permit.

OHIO CCW CLASS

To carry a concealed weapon in Ohio, a  training class is required that covers Ohio's laws, safety and practical training. 

Our one-day 8-hour class will give you the complete training required by the State to get certified.
